The biggest resource is the 'Combating Gender Based Violence: Guidance for Students' Associations.' This Guidance has been developed to provide a framework and useful consideration for students’ associations to campaign, lobby and develop partnerships to combat gender based violence.
In addition, there are a number of appendices to the guidance:
Appendix 1: Specialist Organisations provides a list of relevant groups and potential partners
Appendix 2: Frameworks, Approaches, Trainings and Workshops provides links to a number of further useful resources for increasing your own knowledge and training others.
Appendix 3: Reports, Draft Policy and Templates provides links to a number of documents and drafts of official policies which you can adapt for use in your students' association.
We've also provided two working examples of Zero Tolerance policies, from Stirling and Strathclyde University students' associations.
Finally, there is a poster from the #AskForAngela campaign. The aim is to provide a simple code word that anyone can use to alert bar and hospitality staff to indicate they are in a difficult situation and need some assistance. By asking for someone called "Angela", they provide a signal that can then allow them to get out of the situation as quickly and safely as possible. Feel free to adapt this poster for your use by adding your students' association's logo.
