Small SUs Lead and Change 2024 is an exciting one-day in person development event for college and small and specialist SUs.

 

We’re providing a space for elected officers to develop themselves and create a network that will support you in the coming year.

We’re also excited to invite Learner Voice Practitioners and SU staff to give you time to explore how you can support student leaders in facilitating effective learner voice.

 

All delegates will have the opportunity to develop their leadership skills and their understanding of the key issues we face as a student movement.

Within a small learning group, delegates will build trust and connections with each other, learn how to support one another, as well as utilise each other as their biggest resources. We want delegates to come away from the event feeling connected, confident and that they can go back into their roles and make effective and positive change.

 

 

Event Format

The event will be delivered across two different streams, with content being run in a space for officers, with a separate space and content for staff. There will be opportunities within the event for these two groups to come together to collaborate and network.

 

Dates

Small SUs Lead and Change 2024 is taking place in person on two dates. Delegates only need to attend one date:

 

•  Wednesday 30 October 2024 - Location: Midlands. Venue: TBC

 

•  Thursday 31 October 2024 - Location: London. Venue: TBC

 

Event Details

 Delegate Price: £25 + VAT per delegate

 

Small SUs and FE Colleges located in Wales will get up to 3 funded delegate places at the event.
