What's the best value vodka in the standard vodka category?
If you’re looking to better understand the standard vodka category available…look no further! Here’s a quick run down on the four standard brands we list ranked in price order.
- JJ Whitley – the best price we have on vodka is on JJ Whitley. Both 1.5L and 70cl are available to order. The price is 10% lower on 1.5L than the next best priced vodka, and 6% lower on the 70cls. It’s a recognised brand and an IWSC and world spirits gold medal winner since 2020. It is now distilled from wheat in England and marketed as ‘Quintessentially British’. It’s the best value standard vodka we list.
- Moonshine – the next best priced vodka. LWC’s own brand. It’s a grape vodka made from the left overs of wine production. Its triple distilled and a good quality own brand budget vodka available in 70cl and 1.5L
- Eristoff – A wheat based standard vodka produced in France. It doesn’t have the smooth quality of the two already mentioned but it is a good standard vodka available in 70cl and 1.5L
- Smirnoff No21 Vodka. The most well-known and established standard vodka brand, marketed as the world’s number 1 vodka, wheat based, triple distilled and 10 times filtered available in 70cl and 1.5L
All the support for these brands has gone into price so unless the product is listed in a programme there is no additional volume based retros on any of the above brands.
