Earlier this year, the Univeristy of Nottingham Students' Union welcomed student trustees from SUs across the country to a unique networking event. 

As awareness grows of the important role student trustees hold within their institututions, this event was created to develop leadership skills, enhance understanding of governace and expand personal and professional networks. 

Throughout focussed discussions including leadership strengths, effective governance and expanding horizons, the diversity in the student trustees backgounds and institutions ensured valuable exchange of ideas and vibrant discussion of best practice. Delegates returned to their institutions with a renewed sense of purpose and a commitment to making a positive impact.
