SIBA portal relaunches with local keg beer

Tuesday 21-11-2023 - 12:24

SIBA is the Society of Independent Brewers and has the majority of local brewers right across the UK as members.

Members have been able to order cask ales via SIBA for many years but we have now relaunched the partnership with the addition of local keg.

This gives members a wealth of great local brews that are available to you as kegged product locally. The partnership enables a compliant route-to-market for local beer supporting members and independent brewers. To ensure we capture the volume for members, all local kegged beer on the bar must now be via SIBA as a compliant route.

Here’s a few things to note.
•    All licensed members have been given an account and login to the SIBA Beer Flex Portal- please email Trading Support if you haven't received the details.
•    As before, SIBA invoices are processed via Central Billing
•    A bar plan needs to be submitted indicating which taps will be used for SIBA product
•    Local draught should be rotated and no more than 6-8% of the overall tap plan
•    At least 1 line of national craft beer should additionally be on the bar.

There's a vast list to choose from but here's just a few to get you started...
