Thanks to feedback from SUs, we moved this year’s Election Development webinars earlier, to ensure more time to plan and prepare for the upcoming election period. We hosted five development webinars in November & December 2024, which are now available to watch back via YouTube.
 

First time DROs and election staff
Ideal as a first introduction, this webinar shares: how to use the service, election rules, complaints & investigations plus top tips.

Small & specialist SU elections
Tailored towards those running elections in smaller SUs, potentially navigating running elections with less capacity.

Officer legalities - VISAs, eligibility, conduct & employment with Bates Wells
Delivered by lawyers from Bates Wells this webinar focuses on supporting international students as candidates, diving into ensuring eligibility checks, support with VISAs and considerations.

Returning DROs
Geared towards those staff members that have acted as DROs (Deputy Returning officers) before, this webinar focuses more on dealing with complaints, investigations and tricky potential situations.
